The “Money Tree” features quarterly surveys of venture capital investment activity compiled by PriceWaterhouseCoopers, in partnership with Venture Economics and the National Venture Capital Association.

The Federal Government's R&D funding program for small businessesòSmall Business Innovation Research (SBIR ) Programòsupplies information on the program, participating government agencies, and solicitations.

Maryland Industry Partnerships, a program of the University of Maryland, awards matching grants to companies to support research to develop products and processes.

Maryland Technololgy Development Corporation (TEDCO), TEDCO is bringing innovations from universities and federal labs into the State's economy by facilitating the transfer of technology to the private sector and by providing emerging technology companies and university researchers with vital seed funding and specialized technical assistance.
